State Bank of India (SBI) has officially published the notification (Advt No: CRPD/APPR/2026-27/07) for the engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. A massive total of 7,150 training seats have been announced across various states in India. Candidates holding a Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) in any stream can fill out the online application form from 19 May 2026 to 08 June 2026.

Step by Step Guide to Apply

Visit the official SBI Careers website: sbi.co.in/careers or sbi.bank.in/careers.
Go to the "Current Openings" section and click on "Engagement of Apprentices in SBI".
It is mandatory to first register on the NAPS portal: apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
After NAPS registration, click on "Apply Online" on the SBI portal.
Register yourself and note down the system-generated provisional registration number and password.
Fill in your educational and personal details carefully and choose your top 3 preferred districts.
Upload scanned copies of your recent photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and hand-written declaration.
Pay the required application fee online (if applicable).
Submit the application and take a printout of the final form and e-receipt for future reference.
