Section Controller	Level - 6 (4200/-)	Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university in India. Refer to Annexure-A in the official notification for exact educational parameters and post-wise specifics.

Eligibility — Basic (summary)

Minimum Qualification: Graduate degree (or equivalent) from a recognized University. Candidates awaiting final results are NOT eligible.
Age (as on 01.01.2026): 20–33 years (see official CEN for community-wise relaxations).
Medical Standard: A-2 (see detailed medical standards in the CEN).
Nationality/Citizenship: Indian citizens and other categories as permitted by CEN (see notification).

Selection Process & Exam Pattern (overview)

Single stage Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) for eligible posts, then Document Verification and Medical Examination.
Shortlisting for CBAT: up to 8× vacancies based on CBT merit (RRB discretion).
Shortlisting for Document Verification: generally 1:1 of vacancies (RRB-wise) based on combined merit.
Medical Examination
Negative marking: 1/3rd marks for wrong answers; normalization for multi-shift CBTs.
