The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the notification for Sub Inspector (SI) Recruitment 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online as per the official schedule. The selection process will include a written examination based on the prescribed UP Police SI Syllabus 2025.

Written Exam Structure

Key Rules & Eligibility

Candidates must secure minimum 35% marks in each subject and 50% marks overall to qualify.
The written exam will be conducted in OMR-based offline mode.
Exam will be of 2 hours (120 minutes) with 160 questions.
Each question will have four options, candidates must choose only one correct answer.

Important Instructions

The exam will be divided into four sections as mentioned above.
OMR answer sheets will be provided; candidates must not take the original sheet outside.
Admit cards will be available on the official website uppbpb.gov.in.
Exam dates and schedule will be published on the official website.
If exam is held in multiple shifts, Normalization of marks will be applied.
All questions (except General Hindi) will be bilingual (Hindi & English).
Answer key will be released after the exam and objections will be invited online.
If a question is found incorrect, it will be canceled and marks will be distributed equally.
In case multiple correct answers exist, any one correct option will fetch full marks.
